Numerical Models as Important Component of EGS Design and Operation

The Geothermal Resource Council (GRC) workshop on “New Frontiers in EGS* Technology” was a great success. The workshop was organized as part of the GRC 2019 yearly meeting and expo in Palm Springs, CA. Itasca was pleased to participate in the workshop. Azadeh Riahi was a member of the organization committee and developed and chaired the Reservoir Engineering session. Branko Damjanac was an invited speaker presenting work conducted for the Fallon Project: “Numerical Models as Important Component of Design of EGS Operations”, which was well received by geothermal experts from industry, national laboratories, and research institutions.
