Benedikt Stille studied Geosciences with specialization in Geophysics at the Ruhr-University Bochum. From 2012 to 2014, he worked as a Research Assistant for ITASCA and since 2015 he is a full-time employee.
Benedikt has experience in numerical modelling with PFC, FLAC3D and 3DEC. He works on projects for the German nuclear waste repository Shaft Konrad and Morsleben and participated in project work for NAGRA (parametric study for site specific investigations). In addition, Benedikt worked on a project for Tensar International to investigate geogrid-soil interaction. Furthermore he has worked on numerous projects involving long wall mining and freezing shafts for large Russian companies.
