The numerical modeling is an appropriate instrument, which can aid engineering solutions. Initiation-short course in using ITASCA codes, with application in geomechanics, mining, environment protection will be assisted by ITASCA - Germany and Romanian specialists. In the framework of the scientific seminar specialty lectures will be held and a poster exhibition will be organized. It will provide a good opportunity to know the participants concerns and achievements, in order to create the starting point in the discussions between Romanian and foreign specialists to settle European and even intercontinental partnerships. |

This scientific event is focused not only on presentation of the present aspects which the mining activity faces, but also the newest technical achievements in the field, in Romania and abroad. The most significant aspect, concerning the degree of innovation in the field refers to the fact that the requirements have in view the accordance with the activities from the mining industry to the prerequisites of the Article 130r from the European Union Acquis, with respect to environment protection.
